Enhanced corrosion resistance with „Cromsteel-500“
Apart from our standard chrome plating, which guarantees a 120 hrs (for diameters under 20 mm) and 200 hrs (for diameter starting at 20 mm) Rating 9 or 10 in NSS test of corrosion resistance, for special applications where the hydraulic cylinder or the linear motion equipment are subject to highly corrosive conditions (near the seaside, river, desert, or in food industry), we have developed the high end “Cromsteel-500” additional protection that raises the corrosion resistance to 500 hrs Rating 9 or 10 in NSS test.
The “Cromsteel-500” option is available on all our chrome plated products.
